Notice

The species featured on this page represent native plants and wildlife that may potentially use the Broome Tech Park property and its surrounding wetlands. The campus’s landscape, hydrology, and preserved green space create conditions that could support these species’ habitat or migratory needs, even though they have not been directly observed on the property.

With approximately 75% of the Tech Park’s green space preserved, the campus offers a meaningful opportunity to experience and appreciate Broome County’s native biodiversity. As the site continues to mature, visitors and tenants may encounter some of these species in the future as local ecological processes take shape.
